What is the World Series of Darts? 

The PDC World Series of Darts is a 5-day festival of competitions featuring regional talent and the PDC’s world ranked players. Annual WSOD festivals take place all across the world including Dubai, Asia, Germany, Australia, New Zealand and now North America, being held at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas on July 3-7, 2018.

What events can I to enter and what is the entry fee?  (Qualifiers July 3 & 4)

All North American players are invited to register for the event qualifiers – 4 separate tournaments played across the first 2 days (July 3 and 4) that provide 4 separate chances to advance. Top 8 qualifiers will advance to two separate main events, the North American Championship (July 5) and the US Darts Masters (July 6-7).  The registration fee for the qualifiers is $100usd/each.

What is the North American Championship? (July 5)

The North American Championship is a competition between the top 8 players from the qualifiers. This will be played on the stage for a top prize of $10,000, plus the winner will be invited to compete at the 2018/19 PDC World Championship in the UK.

What is the US Darts Masters? (July 6-7)

The US Darts Masters will have 8 world-ranked PDC professionals play versus the same 8 qualifiers who competed in the North American Championship. This will be televised worldwide and the top prize is $20,000.

How are the Top 8 Qualifiers determined?

The top 8 qualifiers selected for the North American Championship and the US Darts Masters will consist of the following: 4 First Place finishers (one from each qualifier) plus the 4 next highest money earners from all four qualifiers combined (order of merit).

What prize money is available? 

When the competition reaches a 128 player field, winning a single match in any qualifier will earn Top 64 prize money which is $100. Win another match and earn $200. If you advance through the qualifiers, you are guaranteed a minimum of $2,500 in additional prize money and a shot at over $30,000 from the NADC and US Masters.

Additional US Darts Masters Details
Dates: July 6-7
Match Format: Progressive, Opening Round Best of 11
Prize Money:  1st: $20,000; 2nd: $10,000; 3-4: $5,000; Top 8: $2,500; First Round Losers: $1,250 (guaranteed minimum prize for all qualifiers)


  • Registration Deadline: June 29, 2018
  • The qualifiers are paying out over $60K, by far the highest prize fund available to North American steel tip players
  • Players ARE NOT REQUIRED to stay at the Mandalay Bay in order to play in the tournament – BUT players staying there July 3-7 will receive 2 complimentary tickets for televised stage play on July 5-7.
  • Players who win through the qualifiers will be refunded their entry fees for any subsequent qualifiers
  • Additional tickets must be purchased to watch the staged NA Championships and US Darts Masters; these can be purchased by the day or for the entire event. See below for ticket information.
  • All events to be played under the rules of the Darts Regulation Authority (DRA) with respect to conduct and dress code
  • Players will receive a “Player’s Briefing” in advance of the event with additional details



There is no requirement for players to stay on site at the Mandalay Bay, however players who do for the nights of July 3-7 will receive two complimentary tickets to the US Darts Masters and North American Darts Championship.  Players must be a registered guest at the Mandalay Bay (including in shared rooms) in order to qualify for complimentary tickets.

Players who enter the qualifiers and wish to stay at the Mandalay Bay should book accommodation via the following link to qualify for the PDC’s group rate and be eligible for their complimentary main event tickets:
