For events that have concurrent competitions and want to be able able to assign the same board in separate brackets, turn on “Board Sharing.” This option is found in the initial tournament setup wizard and can also be activated from the Tools menu at any time.
Why use this option?
The most common use of this feature is to allow pre-assigning a board for an upcoming event that is not yet live. Use the “Go Live” command to control when the match is listed in the scoring app.
WARNING: This option will make all boards available to every event, regardless if the board is currently assigned or in-use. This allows multiple matches from live events to be listed in the scoring app, which may create confusion.
DartConnect does NOT recommend this feature to be activated unless the operator is absolutely certain this is required to manage the competition.
