The PDC and PDPA have made a special arrangement with DartConnect to provide all PDPA Members with dedicated online practice groups during this period of social distancing.
All current registered PDPA members are eligible to participate with their respective “tours”. You can now compete at will, under the PDC banner, against fellow tour mates, while keeping your darting skills sharp, until in-person competition resumes.
This is a FREE program. All you need is a FREE Guest account. Important that you use your personal, non-shared email. This will need to match the email used with your PDPA account.
IMPORTANT: To access your PDC Practice Group, your DartConnect account must utilize the same email address that is on file with the PDPA. Use the link below to check which of your email addresses is connected to the tour practice group. The email MUST be unique – you cannot use your Manager’s email or share it with another player.

All PDPA Players can now compete online, using the same scoring platform utilized every weekend at all PDC Tours. This ensures your darts will remain at peak performance when in-person competiton resumes. Each tour (Championship • Challenge • Development) has it’s own practice group and performance leaderboard. Compete against your peers, utilizing a public forum that promotes Players, PDC and the game of Darts.
If using webcams on this channel, the PDC has specifically requested the players NOT stream their competition. In addition, they have requested that DartConnect suppress the broadcast LIVE Scoreboard feature. For further guidance please contact the PDPA.
Using a webcam (or mobile device) to share you dartboard can enhance the experience, but should NOT be considered a requirement for experimenting with online play. Learn More
Pro Tip: When using voice chat only, be sure to converse, calling out your scores, along with the occasional shout or groan!
Keep in mind that streaming of any kind (movies, music video games, and video chat) crowds the bandwidth servicing your home, and can affect your stream.
Pro Tip: DartConnect has been designed for very low bandwidth consumption. Should you experience slowness, consider running the scoring app on a mobile hotspot, independent of the traffic in your household.
How does a Free Guest Account Differ from a Paid Premium Membership?
A DartConnect Premium Membership allows players to play with anyone, outside the PDC Tour Group. In addition, premium members can compete against the computer and have access to advance features. The 501 scoring application is identical for all players.
At DartConnect, we feel this falls under the “optional” category. While we often use webcams, we definitely do not consider it a should an excuse to not experiment, especially among friends! Learn More.
What match formats and games can we play?
Practice groups will be able to play the following match formats:
Are there any restrictions regarding online play?
Only one. The PDC has requested that the “live scoreboards” for your practice matches not to be broadcast in real-time. This is to ensure the “official” practice matches do not compete with the “PDC Home Tour”, a program critical to keeping PDC Darts in the public eye.
How can I track my performance over time?
Links to completed match reports will appear under each practice group, on the PDC page in DCTV. In addition, the performance leaderboard will function as it does for every tour date.
How does this benefit the PDC?
During this period of social distancing, the sports world is experiencing a “content void”. Darts is one of the free sports that can fill this void. Just by playing online, against various opponents, you are promoting all aspects of the game, while participating in the best known public forum for all levels of darts competition.
The PDC, working with the PDPA, were keen to provide a platform where players can enjoy structured practice sessions and also track their performance, enabling players to maintain or improve their performance levels ahead of the return to competitive action.
Is a Webcam/Streaming Device Required?
At DartConnect, we feel this falls under the “optional” category. While we often use webcams, we definitely do not consider it an excuse to not getting started, especially among friends! Learn More.
