What is an online match lobby?
An online match lobby is an informal “playground” where players gather for one-on-one online “pick up” games.
After entering the lobby, players post a “match offer” for other players to accept or they can select another player’s offer.
DartConnect’s unique lobby features:

- Play 301, 501 or Cricket
- Watch any live lobby match on DartConnect TV
- Works with DC VideoConnect (optional)
How do I know if my league is eligible?

Are you suspended for Covid?
We’ve activated a special season in your league portal. The name of this season is “Covid Relief” and it will be identical to your previous season with players assigned to the same divisions. If you want to let new players into the lobby, create a special “Covid Team” to assign them to.
After you login, go to “League Settings” to activate your challenge night.
When you are ready to create your own next season, select the “Covid Relief” as the season you want to copy.
Are you an active league currently in season?
You can set up a Challenge Night in your current season and provide a bonus night of darts for players. In your active season, go to “League Settings” to activate your challenge night.
What if my league is not currently active?
Even if you’re not currently playing, if you have a DartConnect league portal, we’ve activated your league lobby and created a special season called “Covid Relief”. All you need to do is log into the portal and activate it. Any active players that are assigned to a team or division will be able to play. You can also add more players to give them access.
What if our league isn’t using DartConnect?
We want everyone to be able to keep their members engaged with darts and more comfortable with online play. If your league wants it’s own challenge night lobby, contact us at leagues@dartconnect.com.

What if our league isn’t using DartConnect?
We want everyone to be able to keep their members engaged with darts and more comfortable with online play. If your league wants it’s own challenge night lobby, contact us at leagues@dartconnect.com.

Who can play Challenge Nights in the lobby?
- Just like league matches, players need at least a FREE Guest Account
- Make sure their account email matches their email in your league portal
- Add new players any time – use this to recruit new members! Create an extra team if needed to add new players.

Why just ONE Challenge Night?
Picking a single night ensures members can find a match to play. Choose your standard league night or another night members are available. Contact us if you need additional nights.
What is Prime Time?
Players can use the lobby any time during your selected day, but set a “prime time” to encourage specific hours. Suggested prime times: 7-11 PM
What do we do when we’re ready to create a new season?
When you are ready to create a new season, as usual click the “Create Season” button in the portal control panel.
Make sure you select the “Covid Relief” as the season you want to copy. This is important to retain your division and team structure.
If you’ve added new players to give them access to the lobby, remember to change their status or assignments if they continue playing in the new season.
Note: If you are a team league and trying to create a season for singles play (online or in-person), you will need a separate league portal set up for you. Please fill out our League Signup Form to create your new league.
How long will Challenge Night be Free?
League Lobby Challenge Night will be free through January 31, 2021, to give your members the gift of online darts through the Holidays. When this period is over, we’ll evaluate the program and announce any changes.
